May, and a road trip to Maine!

...and there goes May! This has been a busy month too. Among the highlights: I officially graduated from RPI (at least according to some list I found posted online, since I didn't actually attend graduation or receive a diploma or anything); Ellen, Rowan, and I took a road trip to Maine; we spent an awesome weekend in Connecticut with Keith and Vicky; and I went to Barcelona for a week for work (pictures coming soon). I also read a couple of fantastic books--Olive Kittridge and Lark and Termite--which are so far topping my list this year for best book.

Maine with Ellen and Rowan was so much fun--we went to Harbor Park, drove up to the summit of Mt Battie, hung out in the library playroom and the playground of the big old yellow schoolhouse where I went to kindergarten, and relaxed at our house. Rowan fell in love with our black lab, Oakley, whom he called "Icky" and fed meals and "threw" the ball for him every day. Ellen's posted a far better recap of our trip and lots of pictures over at her blog, but here are a few!
