a new feature!

Here's a new little blog feature for all you tens of readers! On the sidebar to the left, I'll try to keep a running list of books I've read recently and make note of the ones I like or didn't like.

I've loved to read since my early days of competitive reading. Tyler and I used to read for the Multiple Sclerosis Read-a-Thon where if you raised a certain amount of money, you could win an awful prize like a stuffed detective dog who I think was for some reason the mascot for MS. In retrospect, that seems like a really odd marketing decision, but as a little girl, I was sold. We used to coerce family friends, aunts and uncles, and grandparents into giving us a dollar per book, and then we'd read our little hearts out raising money for a stuffed dog. To help find a cure, I mean.

Anyway, I still try to find time to read "for fun," apart from all the reading for school and for work. I really like getting book suggestions from people, so I thought maybe others would appreciate my suggestions - now on the left sidebar! (When the list gets too long, I think I'll start archiving in a post and link to it on the sidebar.)
