I've been very neglectful of this little blog lately! Over three weeks ago now, Dan and I "bore witness" (that's legal speak for this Yale Law wedding) at the marriage of our friend Hannah to her classmate and now husband, Sam. The wedding was at Hannah's family farm in New Hampshire--an absolutely idyllic setting with huge fields, a classic barn, and pigs, cows, and chickens. We came to NH straight from our cleaning extravaganza weekend on the Vineyard (I've never cleaned my own house that well) and were a bit harried; we literally changed on the side of the dirt road that led to the farm (Dan had to go back later to pick up his shorts forgotten on the side of the road...)!
We had a wonderful time seeing Hannah and Sam and catching up with Sarah Percy, our old neighbor in DC and one of my lovely bridesmaids two years ago. In true Hannah-form, after the ceremony and dinner, there was dancing in the barn until well after the sun went down. Congrats guys! We'll definitely be down to see you soon in Austin - Dan's birthplace!
