I hate when I get this far behind. We've been in our new house for a few weeks now, and it's wonderful. But more about that later! Since I last wrote, Dan also finished his residency, and we spent two weeks in a house my parents rented in beautiful Stonington, Maine. I don't really have the energy to say much except that Deer Isle is just magical. It's the Maine I love and am sad to leave.

You can also hike out to Barred Island on a one-mile trail. Dan, Dad, Bennett, and I did it on a very foggy morning:

Exploring downtown Stonington. Dan and I had an absolutely perfect lunch at a little restaurant, on their deck hanging over the harbor. The weather was gorgeous, the food was yummy, the scenery was unreal.



There was no internet access at the house, so here are Mom, Sarah, and Tyler poaching internet from outside the public library in Stonington.

These kids are pretty lucky to have such an awesome Dad. Am I right, or am i right?? Since I was headed to a friend's wedding on actual Father's day, we celebrated a day early with a trip to the York Zoo.

It's so hard to know when to say your kid has hit a milestone, but I think it's officially here - Lucy is no longer taking tentative little steps. She's walking!

Bennett is 3!

It's hard to believe that Bennett is now three. He's just such an awesome kid. He had a blast at his party, playing with his new toys, whacking the dinosaur pinata, and eating his cars cake.
