HUGS!

Bennett has a lot of new tricks lately--including a few tentative steps on Monday, his 11 month birthday!!!--but one of my very favorites is that he gives all his stuffed animals hugs when I say "Hugs!" It's just so freaking cute.






I think we're in for a lot of changes soon - Bennett has doubled his number of teeth (from just four to EIGHT) in the past week or so, he's taken a few little steps, and he seems to be slowly day-weaning. We still nurse once at night (4 or 5 AM), but only twice during the day, and he never asks for it. He's just started drinking whole milk, which he seems to love. He gulps it down from a cup, pauses to gasp for air, and then starts gulping again!

I can't believe this kid is just weeks away from turning one.
