baby shower!

I had so much fun hosting Ellen’s baby shower with Kendra and Cate! This was a marathon shower - almost 6 hours of fun! We started out with a nice lunch and then cute baby bluebird coconut cupcakes. I am Martha Stewart at heart! (Although it takes much too steady of a hand to be the Martha – Cate and my hands were shaking as we tried to add the teeny little chocolate eyes to our baby birds!)

After lunch, in lieu of playing silly games, we used freezer paper to make stencils and paint little onesies. It was really fun, and they came out so much better than any of us expected!!!

Cate made the fun "Hello" nametag onesie below. Ellen plans to write in the baby's name with a Sharpie!

Apparently Ellen feels confident that her son will love frogs. Who doesn't?!?
